Cake Mania Main Street App Reviews

Great idea mixing different cuisine however touch seems a little off. I have both of the other cake mania games for iPhone and they work fine, This one however does not seems to read touch correctly so I have to touch the same area numerous times to get it to register makes it very difficult to play!!! Would be great if it worked properly. Fix this issue and I would give s better rating!!

This was already my favorite in the Cake Mania series (on PC) but I have to say 5/5 stars for improved everything! Its much more touch friendly as opposed to Cake Mania 3 and the graphics are fantastic! Well done and worth every penny :)

I love the cake mania games, but this one has a lot of touch screen bugs. I first noticed it in the cake shop when one of the frosting machines wasnt responding and on the burger shop I cant get any fish to cook, so Ill never be able to progress on that one-very frustrating and would like them to fix asap since I paid for it.

Not as bad as Cake Mania Celebrity but CM 3 is the best. I played this game once and put it away.. no interest to play again.

I have problems with the descriptions of the characters, I am clicking so fast, I frequently accidentally skip the customer descriptions. You should have an almanac or something with all the character bios. When you change this, I will rerate this to be a 5 star game but until then, I cannot. Also, I have noticed that not many people like the music (I do, it doesnt bother me I guess) but this game, its really good, but its not getting the reviews it should be. When you change these two things, your ratings will go up and many more people will get it. That said, this is a VERY fun game. This game has four different stores (cake and flower stores, and burger and sushi shops). Yes, I have those grouped for a reason and saying why would ruin the game, wouldnt it (get it and find out why)? That said, you should defiantly get this Cake Mania. Some people may not like it, but most do. Its worth every penny!!! ;)

I love all the cake mania games but this is the best!! You basically have 4 fun games in one! You can switch up whenever you want : )

I like to say Im a cake mania fan--though Ive only played it on the DS and now this. Cake Mania is really fun and addicting. And CM Main Street is four times the fun--literally! Instead of just having the cake shop, you can now manage three additional shops. Ive only unlocked one so far, but the cake shop still stands as my favorite, I have to say. A lot of the reviews talk about glitches with the game, but Ive never had a problem with mine. Maybe the people whose game has problems just need to re-install it? Anyway, I love the game, and I dont have a problem with the background music, contrary to what people are saying. But thats just my opinion; if you dont like the music then you have the option to turn it off. The only problem I had with the game was the beginning; I didnt realize that you just touch the screen to see the next dialogue. I pressed the little arrow thing-y in the bottom right corner, and it skipped the whole thing. As far as I know, theres no way to see it again, so Im a little confused about the story-line. So thats my tip: if you buy this, make sure you dont miss the first thingamabopper. In conclusion, this was well worth my money, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of game, or any Cake Mania fans.

Slow response time, a lot of waiting around... Too boring for me.

Its great you get to sell cakes in one level sell burgers in another level in another you get to sell sushi thats the level Im on now but there are many more to come

I loved playing this game but I beat it fast - just wish there were more levels!

Doesnt support retina display. Overall game play doesnt match the PC version. Ill stick to that instead.

Fun to play, but the graphics are nothing like the Cake Manias I have played on the PC. Definitely a cheap made game....

I loved all the Cake Mania games, until now. 3 was the best! These graphics are worse! The music and characters are incredibly annoying and the new functions are confusing if youre used to the way that were in the last 3 versions. Very disappointed!

I adored that game, but this seems to be a dumbed down version. If I wanted a burger joint there are plenty of other games. Cake mania 3 is what I will play over this.

Great game, really fun- plus not only is there a cake shop, but theres a burger shop, flower shop and sushi shop. The cake is by far the best, but its fun to take a break and play the others.

I used to play this game on my computer when I was little and LOVED it. You could imagine my excitement when I discovered it on the App Store. However, I am utterly disappointed. It is not only confusing for it does not provide instructions ( and no trash can for accidental cakes) but it glitched within 10 minutes of playing. I wish it was more like the PC game:(
